Q: Where are you based and which area do you cover?
A:  Our main office is based in Stillington, near York but we have carried out work throughout North Yorkshire.

Q: What information do I need to provide in order to receive a quotation?
A:  Most of our work is through recommendation by architects or previous clients so quite often a new client will come to us once they have agreed and drawn up a design and specification with their architect.  However, if you would like us to guide you through the design stage and planning process, we are more than happy to work with you and together with our team of trustworthy specialists we can create your vision.

Q:  How can we arrange for a quotation?
A:  Initially, please drop us an email or give us a call, via our Contact Us page, giving brief details about your project.  We will then arrange a suitable date for someone to call and see you to assess the works to be carried out and discuss your requirements in more detail.  Following the initial meeting, we will then be able to provide you with a quotation to carry out the work.

Q:  How soon can you start?  
A:  For a larger refurbishment project, it is usually advisable to contact us approximately 2-3 months before you intend to start work on your property, so that we can carry out any preliminary ground investigations and inform the relevant authorities that work is due to commence.

Q:  Do you provide a building contract?
A:  Yes.  We will provide you with a Federation of Master Builders Domestic Building Contract.

Q:  Once work starts, how do we make payments?
A:  Once the building work has begun we will issue monthly invoices and ask that they are settled within 15 days of invoice date either by cheque or online bank transfer.  We will arrange a meeting with you to discuss how work is progressing and to go through any variations which have been agreed, and at this point an invoice will be presented.  No money will be requested in advance of any works.
